lesson of the day:

if you get cocky, god gets you every time.

everything was sooooo easy with eg... water broke in a torrent, wnet to hospital, felt all of about two contractions before the epidural kicked in, and 6-7 hours later, 1 hour of pushing, eg was out, no problem.

so i think i'm just the queen of childbirth...

thpppppft. 12 hours later contractions are "only" 9 minutes apart instead of the 12 or so they were at 6 am this morning. eeeesh. i think i'm in for one of those "49 hours of labor" horror stories... they won't even let me in to the hospital until they are 5 minutes apart.

so after eg, i got my weight back down to 118 lbs, was real proud of myself, bought a ton of size 4 low-rider jeans and belly shirts... haha, i'm so cool, right?

if the stretch marks (eg calls them "tiger scratches") from this double dose of dickheads are any indication, methinks it will never again be appropriate to wear 75% of what's in my closet.

god gets you every time...

and i think it will have to be eviloverlord and evilninja, but we're working on it. ;)

this is probly my last post until the baby pictures post, cuz i feel like a hatful of smashed @$$holes.

OH!

Labor, the thing you don't remember until you are in it again.

Focus on the love of the lil' evil ones, it will help you out (you have been squating right?? it really does help spread your pelvis bones).

I am smiling really big for you... GL and wish you a lot of drugs if that is your choice.

That is a good poll question.

Who here took pain meds when they were delivering?

Hope everything comes out ok, welfare.

For a change, why not try a home birth? That's what we did for our last 3. ;)

I would love to try that! Donnie might have reservations, but I haven't had any complications with my first two :)

But, first, I need to get pregnant... oh, donnie!!! Where are you??

We had our first two at a hospital (with midwives) and 3 at home (again, with midwives). I would definitely say that midwives are the way to go.

Our last 4 have been born at home. The last birth we had at the hospital was our twins 8 years ago, and that was the worst birth experience we've ever had.
