Ok, I am going to put a separate option for the guys. ;) (Guys, if your wife/girlfriend took drugs during labor-hahaha-, feel free to vote yes and then explain.)
As for me, heck yeah, I actually had 2 epidurals since the first one slipped out. lol

No drugs for the DW with any of the three. Very impressive, if you ask me.

I was natural with both Audrey and Mikey.
Well, they gave me a local for the episiotomy with Audie, which is common for first time mom's.
With Mikey, he came so fast that I ripped in two places before they could even say scaple. :(
Weird thing about that is, I felt less with Mikey than Audrey. When the baby is pressing against you like that, you numb up and don't feel it. Well, you feel cramps and pressure, but, well, you know what I mean. Anyway, I felt less with Mikey. :)

I and all my siblings were C-sections so I imagine they knocked my mom out for that. I couldnt imagine having enough anastesia to not feel that kind cut.

For non-emergency C-sections, I think they usually use a spinal or epidural. That way the anesthesia doesn't get to the baby. Plus, the mom gets to be awake for all the fun.
I had an epidural both times. With Ashley I had to wait for the doctor for an hour while she was crowning. I was in labor with Brayden for 22 hours. AND, I'm a big wimp. I don't think that suffering for hours made me feel any closer to my children.
Good job to those who can do it drugfree!

My wife had a spinal for our twins' C-section. No drugs at all for the other 7 deliveries.

Whole damn family had drugs. It's a very progressive hospitals. Don't remember the birth, but I remember having a very nice conversation with a Walrus named Paul.
