1)Dell Ultrasharp 18" LCD.
Pretty impressed. Everything looks more vivid than my SS 955DF.
Well packed and I finally get to use that DVI connection on my ti 4600. Have to try out the dual monitor support but I might just hook up the new card first.

2)Radeon 9700 TX.
Havent plugged it in yet, but will and will than oc it to its proper speeds. :wow:

3)2 4550's with 2.66ghz P4, 60 gig HD, 128 DDR2700, etc. These are for the family but I'm grabbing the TX out of one of them. They both need more ram but for $400 each we couldn't go wrong.

Got in on that deal a week ago. The card and the LCD will cost me around $500.

I think that makes 2 - 3 laptops and a dozen systems all together from Dell over the last couple of years. Not the best, but for everything you get you can't beat those prices.

Now to go break 15k...ahem... try to break... :)

Heh. Gotta love the Ultrasharp. Got in on it a while back, and boy was I surprised by how well it was packed, and by the heft. 24 lbs is nothing, but in such a small box it's quite a surprise.

:nono:

Our original rules said that it was supposed to be bang for the buck.
9700 TX cost me under $130 shipped! The LCD was under $400 shipped!
The cooler was $50. The ram $50 but I need another stick now.
Fan was $12............ :hmm:

Oh damn!

I guess the rules have changed. :o
But just a little. ;)

Congratulation on you new toys. My Dell 4550 ($466.xx after MIR) is coming next week and it has 2.66Ghz, 128MB PC2700, 60GB hard drive, R9000Pro AIW, and all the junks that Dell gives me. I still need to buy another stick of 512MB to run WinXP.
