thx for the link. interesting stuff. especially about tim robbins complaining about his free speech being hindered. while i'm not going to endorse or attack his position on the war, i find it interesting that he considers the heat he's generated as an infringement on his right to free speech. the opposition isn't state sponsored so it's not an imposition on his rights. i, as a citizen, movie watcher, advertising viewer, etc., have right to exercise my right to free speech by telling him to shut up or speak louder, buy or refuse to watch his movies, and purchase or boycott products of companies that sponsor him. if you use your position as a celebrity to make a statement, you should expect your status as a celebrity to be affected, either positively or negatively.
i dearly hope i didn't inadvertantly start something ugly. i just hope several posters just read it and keep going without starting a flame war.
