Monitor splitter?

I use both Mac and PC and would like to be able to bounce between the two systems using the same monitor. Does anyone know where to find something that would allow me to do that with a DVI monitor? Also, would it be possible to do this with a dual monitor setup where one is DVI and the other VGA? Thanks.

***Edit*** Did a search of the forum (have to remember to do that first) and discovered KVM. I don't know much about the subject, and was hoping someone might have had some experience using one for both PC and MAC. Any recommendations?

I've been using KVM's for years. I have never used a DVI one though. I imagine it would have to work the same way.

As for comingling the o/s' It doesn't matter.

I have had a KVM controlling an NT server/Unix server/Linux server with no issues.

It is actually a dumb device (meaning it isn't really aware of itself) windows doesn't even see it as new hardware.. It just sees a kb/mouse/video as if they're plugged directly in.
