1:52 a.m., still at work -- why do i do this to myself?

so, as the thread title says, it's almost 2 in the morning and i'm still at work. my office, i might note, is an hour drive from my home.

why do i do this to myself? that's a good question.

i procrastinated most of the morning, then had a committee meeting, then ate lunch, then had to send out a big mailing. then i did some personal business for a few hours. around 8, i called my GF and talked for a couple hours. then i got organized, was getting ready to work, and then my buddy called me. i bull****ted with him for a couple hours. now, i still have work to do before i can go home :(

so why? why? especially since this is the second time this week that i've been at work so late. i guess i just have major motivational problems, not to mention that i'm so preoccupied with all the other crap in my life that i just can't focus on my writing, etc.

whatever the case, it sucks.....time to get to work

Maybe you just work better late at night like I used to when I was in college. Honestly it took me like 6 months to get used to working so early in the morning. I was always a vegetable until the afternoon.

Anyways man be careful driving home.

solution: move to west coast. then it would be 12am, and you would have 2 hours of work time before it's 2 am again.

i finally finished up at work at 4, got home at 5, crashed till 10 this morning. good thing i'm "working from home" today :D
