Actually pennies have a couple good uses.

1) You can wedge them in the space between the door and door frame to lock someone in their dorm room.

2) This is always a hoot. During parades, its fun to try to toss them in the tubas as the band marches by. :P

It depends on my mood. I used to follow the old superstition of heads up only, but then I realized that was bull, so now that has nothing to do with my inclination to pick it up.

I guess half the time, I pick it up, the other half of time I think about the ground and what people do to it and just keep on walking.

Except that I don't think any stores would round to the 'nearest' .05, they would round whatever way was best for them, and worst for the consumer.

And what would gas stations do? they allready do the 9/10ths thing, would they treat .01 the same? so you could pump 4.9 cents worth of gas, and it would be free? or would it be 2.54 cents that would be free?
