My major goals for this PC are prioritized in this order:
1. Quiet! I hate fan noise.
2. Fast.
3. Smaller form factor, because I have to bring this from school and back twice a year.
4. Purchase from one vendor for simplicity.
The specs are located at http://164.113.47.32/files/Box.xls
Thanks!

The dell in the deals page is very quiet. It may be too big but for the price you wont beat it.

The basic Dell setup is good enough for me but he's building a high end computer. If you add all the extra parts from Dell, it's going to be a lot of $$$.

If you check his link, he has the P4 3.06Ghz HT CPU in there (high end to me) even though he should go with ASUS or Abit motherboard instead of Albatron.

What is canterwood? Also, I plan on building this myself so I can get exactly what I want, and also save some money along the way.
And to clarify, when I said one vendor, I meant purchasing all the parts from one store to simplify the process and save on shipping.

CAnterwood is the new 800mhz front side bus p4. Get the Asus Canterwood mobo and a 3ghz Canterwood with some 400mhz ddr in dual channel and you will have a blazing fast system.
