I've often wished I had a more "rich" cultural background. I have friends who are Irish/Italian/Mexican/whatever who's ethnicity pervades their life. They have regular ethnic celebrations, sing songs, and generally celebrate their heritage year-round.

What do we do? Well, we make lefse once a year. But that's about it. I've been told that the scandanavian "heritage" is to just shut up and work!
