i bought one of those 1700+ T-bred B processors..the ones that are downgraded from a 2600+

i set mine at 2600+ ... so far so good.. no problems..

but i'm just curious.. i went to check my bios for the temps .. and it reported 26-27 degress celsius... so does that seem right to everybody?

i'm using a Thermlright SLK-800 heatsink with a 3000 rpm 39 cfm sunon fan. i also used arctic silver 3 for the heating compound

TIA

Yeah, those temps sound way too low...What motherboard are you using? Is there a BIOS update available?

You sure the heat sink is touching the cpu? I guess if it wasnt the cpu would burn up, but stranger things have happened.
