Ok, so SnotRocket's sig reminded me that I hadn't posted my spider story from today yet.

This afternoon, I leaned back in my desk chair, looked up at the ceiling and saw a spider. (I was going to put a picture but for the life of me, I can't find one.)

Anyway, it was one of those small black spiders that has little white spots on its back. Not venomous that I know of. I saw them all the time at my parents' house and stuff.

So anyway, it was above my desk. I was really afraid that it would fall or jump down on me. I thought about calling Scott to come home from work and kill it. lol But then I decided that wasn't a good idea. I couldn't reach it well enough to kill it (even standing on a chair using a broom). So I called my friend and asked if her husband was home & he was, so he came over and killed it for me. :heh: I'm such a wuss!

hehe, yea my sister and mother are the exact same way
except my mom will kill a spider on the wall and leave its remains there expecting someone else to clean it up

my scariest experience with a spider was when i was sitting on the toilet... i looked over at hte mirror and looked at the reflection of a spider "webbing downwards" out of the ventelation thing of the ceiling right above me, i look up and its legs are all sprawled (some black spider bout an inch in size) comming towards me (long paragraph short) i swatted it into oblivion, startled me though how it was a foot away from me when i noticed it.

(hows that for a run on sentence)

i can feel the jealousy

:heh: Well, if it had been within my reach, I would have killed it. But as it was, I was far enough away that I would have knocked it down and probably lost it on the floor somewhere and I DIDN'T want that. LOL
