hmm, question about contracts.

So I origionally had ATT broadband and under their contract I was allowed 8 ip's i could freely use. Now comcast comes around and buy ATT's broadband in this area. comcast has to abide by the contract i had with ATT right? they never mailed me and told me any policies have changed, though i did get an email telling me my email addy will change and the billing website is now different.

i wanna know cause i wanna play around using more than one ip so i can teach myself some split connection routing but comcasts website states that each additional ip costs extra.
