What is this crap now with any messageboards run by http://www.ezboard.com/ and now having to pay if you want to post more than three times a day? :disa: utter crap

well, all those problems can be fixed by paying for their services, right?

I believe EZboard hosts all of the communities themselves. The fee is for the members of each respective community.

You are right, the vBulletin software is not free - but that does not mean that we, the users, must pay.

if people who run those messageboards really had a vision in their website, and wanted to create community...they would invest in their own messageboards (whether it be vbulletin, or a free one like ikonboard), and make money out of the adds....

most of the ezboard sites are kinda sucky to begin with, and the people who run them usually don't have any clue to any web technologies.
