With very few short exceptions I have had a goatee since high school. So long as its kept groomed it looks fine.

Goatees are pretty cheezy if you ask me.

If you're going to have facial hair, a real man would go for a nice big handlebar moustache! ;)

:naughty: i love gotees, and think they're just plain sexy, assuming the guy takes care of it and keeps it nicely groomed.

slight side note: what is that little patch of hair right under the guy's lip called? i know the "naughty" name for it ( ___ tickler), but i've always wondered what the proper name is. I think the other day I also heard it called a soul patch...

I had one in college and it looked dumb.
Very few guys look good with them. For some reason,they look especially creepy on skinny guys.

i would say most guys look good with a goatee UNLESS it is sparse, because he can't grow a decent one.

I dont mind goatees but I'm a full beard and mustache guy. I've had it 10 years, I don't WANNA know what I'd look like without it.

I have a friend (on here oddly enough) that has one and I think he looks pretty damn good (from the pics I have seen. ;) ).

I grow a goatee every fall and I usually leave it on until around the end of winter. Actually I grow a van dyke, which is a goatee and a mustache.

Yeah yeah, when was the last time I posted? I just had to say that I have dated numerous guys with and without goatees and so I feel I have a nice "view" of the whole thing. From a girl's point of view, I think if you're going to have facial hair, have it and have it long enough where it doesn't hurt me to kiss you. If you aren't going to have it, then freaking shave enough where again, it doesn't hurt me. Haven't you realized yet that it's all about me? ;)

:stupid: i hate it when my bf hasn't shaved for a few days so he's all stubbly, and then tries to kiss me... it's like rubbing your face with sandpaper! the soft fuzzy teddy bear stage is nice though...

my goatee is about 1.5 inches, and I have a french tickler. I think I actually have a real goatee because it doesn't go up and into the moustachey thing cause i don't like the way it looks on me.

I'll post a picture when i get home.

I used to have a goatee that was along the bottom of my chin, but not up under my bottom lip. I looked Amish. My old boss many years ago had a bright red one that shot down about 3 or 4 inches below his chin. We used to call him Pharoah.

i had it wider, like at the corners of my mouth, but i didn't like how it looked.

And it's green because i was trying to take the picture by myself..., it didn't work too well... =\

I forget where I was, but there was this guy who had a 15" goatee that he actually had dreaded because it was so long. He also treated it with some stuff to make it really really soft. He had the woman I was with touch it, although she didnt want to, and was going up to all the women there and using it as a pick up tool. The guy was probably in his late 50's and probably a biker.

Personally I dont know how he did it, the longest I ever had my goatee was 3" or so and that was during college many years ago. Then again this was shortly after I grew a beard, where everyone called me Abe for some reason.

goatees look cool on the right face. for other people, they look pretty bad.

personally, i prefer to keep my facial hair as non-existant as possible.
