I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way, but I have been waiting to find out whether or not I go tickets in a ticket lottery and the results are supposed to post prior to midnight tonight. I have been waiting patiently since the end of march when i ordered the tickets and this day has just dragged on and on. I have been checking my email every couple of hours, but thus far nothing has posted. Its driving me nuts.

So what the hell can a person do to speed up time for one thing but not for another. I dont particularly want Thursday to arrive...just want to find out about my tickets!

Warehouse tickets for Dave Matthews?

Nope, tickets for Phish. I dont understand how people actually pay the $30 to join the DMB warehouse it just seems like a rip off to me. Phish does it for free, although you used tohave to be a Schive member. Now they went completely online and no more schive :( They also switched the tickets to a lottery system rather than the first come first served approach whereby I used to get awesome seats everytime.

As I was typing this, the email finally arrived only 13hrs late apparently due to all of the emails being deflected by my ISP as spam. I gather they were sending a bunch to the same ISP and so its software caused the problem.

Well, I got tickets, but relatively crappy ones. Which means on Saturday I will be on ticketbastich trying to get some better seats. Last time I managed to get floor through them while my mail order tickets sucked, hoping for a repeat..if not, I at least have tickets.

GD ticketbastard!

i wanted to go see NFG/GC on my b-day, and they happened to have a pre-sale coming up. So I was sitting here, trying to get them, adn they were all on the outer rims of the GD stages/theater. I buy the first decent pair I can get. Couple days later, I casually go on to check to see them, and Pit tickets come up, first try. I decide to check again, front, slightly to the right, within 3 rows of the pit. fukkas!

Just buy the better seats and get rid of your crappy seats on the day of the show. So long as you are selling the tickets for face value and not trying to make some money, its not illegal. I dont know how the market is for the show you mentioned, but with Phish at least, i can always get rid of extra tickets and never taken a loss. I usually just sell them in the lot scene, which is a big thing at phish shows.

it's actually not a really huge cult following like concert, a la Grateful Dead or Phish like proportions, but it is The Honda Civic Tour (http://www.civictour.com/landing.asp?BrowserDetected=True). unfortunely I couldn't buy them, damn woman with her knee problem makes it so I can't have some fun in the pit :(

Mosh pit? Whats a mosh pit? :D

Just kidding. Seriously though, I can usually unload any tickets I get to any concert. Whether it is to my friends or to some stranger. Doesnt really matter who is playing, so long as you arent charging a premium or if you do charge a premium that the tickets are worth it. Its called Networking.

Isnt that the tour where they have the bands design cars (paint jobs), ala Incubus last year or the year before?

The only thing I network is computers. I'm not what you call a 'People Person' :)

Yeah, that's the tour, started with Blink-182 (with Alkaline Trio) 2001, then Incubus in 2002, and Now New Found Glory /Good Charlotte in 2003.

yes, no, yes, yes

I like to diversify.

Been a fan of Blink since they were a garage band, got into NFG when they were still on Drive-Thru, and GC I heard 'Anthem' and though it was pretty spiffy, so I'm still undecided about them.

Just because I like a little pop punk? Bah. I could see it if I said I like Brit-knee or Christina Agusluta, or Celine Dion or some crap, then I could see it.

It's not like that's all I listen to, I'll jump in the Pit to some Ancient, Meshuggah, Morbid Angel, Infamy, et all. But ya know, sometimes you gotta slow it down.

Can't help it, I'm a Metal-lovin' punk at heart :D

i dunno man.....NFG/GC suck ass imo.

i heard them at the 89x Christmas show in Detroit last year (i was actually there to hear Zwan, although Boxcar Racer was a pleasant surprise as far as quality music goes). anyway, both bands were very unimpressive to me as far as just being crappy punk/pop.

but then again, i think you have a different taste in music than i do, so

Obviously :P

boxcar racer is what I listen to for mellow music.

NFG is really good live, they have a lot of energy. I've seen them twice (once for free, once at the Warped Tour, last year) and both times they were better than their CD's, but it's all about personal opinion.

I read this the other day and I have been told this is true:

"If you have only one year to live, move to Cleveland. Every day there feels like an eternity!"

I think I understand the feeling of time moving slowly. I'm awake right now waiting for one download to finish so I can turn my computer off, and in the meantime, I'm posting all over G|A.

So today, the Phish tickets went on sale through TIcketbastich at 10am. I was online and on the page at the exact time they went on sale but all it came up with was freaking 200 level seats! I absolutely hate ticketbastich. Their safe guards slow down the loading times and half the time are unreadable and dont stop the scalpers anyway.

So after trying for 20 minutes i finally got seats down in the 100 level, but when I went to buy them, I was told my time had expired, which it hadnt unless you consider the loading time. I kept trying and finally got some much worse seats, which I ended up buying. A few minutes of more trying and suddenly I had better seats...so now I have six tickets for the show, when I only needed two.

Good thing these are easy to get rid of.
