Olympus camera on deals page - bad deal

I think you talk a lot of smack. Did you send an email to Leon or Apex to let them know there's a better deal?

Unless they told you to go F yourself cuz theres no commission, then you SHOULD go F yourself.

There have been a couple of times I found a better deal than what was listed, sent an email to one of the deal posters and *POOF* the deals page was updated.

Check your facts FIRST. I'm pretty annoyed at this post and don't think you appreciate the fact that Apex and co. have this site up for FREE for all of us and all they hope for is to make a couple of nickels off of commission links.

Hell, you may be one of the folks that buys things at a great price here and sells them on Ebay for profit. Ever cut a "thank you" check and send it over to Apex for turning you on to it???

Being what I believe to be rational people, they will know if a deal is better than another and have the almighty power to make changes where necessary. Nothing wrong with posting the better deal. In fact that is great and I wish everyone would do that when they see one.

Perhaps it was an unecessary comment I made, I agree on that, but still it wasn't completly off the wall. I didn't mean to severly bash the site, in fact I like it a lot and I think the operators do a wonderful job! It's a great concept, I buy a lot of stuff through this site and I always make sure that I don't by-pass the commission-code. When I tell my friends about a deal, I even include apex's commission-tag so he receives credit for the purchase.
I do believe though that some deals are listed simply because they can be linked through commission based programs and not necessarily because they are the best deals. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, and I would have done the same if I owned this site.
Apparently some people were hurt a lot more than I intended by that comment, and I appologize for that.

I think the reason people got upset is that your post seemed to imply that this site only lists affiliate deals. G|A? has never claimed to find the absolute lowest price. Plus you have to factor in the reliability of the vendor, shipping costs, etc.

I try to buy my stuff thru the deals page when I need something, because I know for the most part, it IS a deal compared to retail, and I can expect performance from the vendor. And it helps keep this place going! :)
