...where you feel like you HAVE to buy something?

I'm in one of those now. I was close to buying a Coolpix 2500 when I already have a camera. I'm seriously thinking of buying a MuVo. Friday, I went and bought a compactflash card when I don't even need it...

grrrr...it is these times when I regret my actions...and I feel like by the end of the weekend, I'll end up with something big...

I bought the travelsound mp3 titanium and a new coach wallet on a whim last week. I just felt the need.

i have the coolpix 2500, and imo i don't think it's all that. the quality isn't as good as i like, and i have major problems with indoor shots.

but to answer your question, yes, i used to go on spending fever. best buy was one of my favorite places. dvds are the worst thing for me, b/c i'll buy the "special priced" ones, and i figure they're only $10, so i'll just pick up 5!

I bought the parts for my last system.. along with the color laser, and 20" lcd.. all on this "spending fever"... last time I ordered from overstock, i saw a few dvd's i liked.. ended up spending about $500 or so on dvd's alone... my reasoning was... it averages to $10 per dvd... :disa: that was a few months ago.. the dvd's currently sit on the shelf unopened still.

Had one those about a month ago.

Compy broke down. Couldn't figued what was wrong. Bought a new vid card, motherboard, and heat sink. Didn't fix problem. New power supply did the trick.

Total Cost= around $300
Total compy down time= 3.5 weeks

Fortunately, I havent had spending fever in a while. I am pretty good at only buying things when I need them or it would cost more to repair what I already own. The last time I was about to go on a buying blitzkreig I got up to the register, had everything rung up and then when the total appeared, I snapped out of it. $7000 in stereo equipment when you are buying the stuff at cost is a bit excessive.

I haven't gone on a spending binge in a while. Oh wait... I just did. Navigation system for the car, RGB inputs to integrate DVD player, OEM Nokia integrated car kit. But this is for business purposes. I swear. :)
