The company is called Vonage. Basically, they send you a router that you connect your existing phone to, as well as your cable modem, and you make calls through the internet. The plan I got was $25.99 which includes unlimited local, regional, and 500 long distance minutes. I saved about $20/month on my phone bill. Normally my bill was at LEAST $45 a month, and I don't even use my home phone that much. I'm trying to cut down on every bill I can, and this was an easy decision to make.
I can't tell you first hand how good or bad it is, but I just wanted to pass along the info. I'll post again once I have it, and have used it for a bit.
