Half-Life 2 Teaser Trailer (http://mediaviewer.ign.com/ignMediaPage.jsp?media_id=1721742&object_id=492830&channel_id=59&page_title=Half-Life+2&adString=network%3Dign%26site%3Dpchub%26pagetype%3Dvideo&return_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpc.ign.com%2Fobjects%2F492%2F492830.html)
Enjoy! :thumb:
I can say with no hesitation that I am very much looking forward to both of these games. My only hope is that I am able to upgrade my system to take full advantage of the technologies in these games before I play them! :D
Half-Life was and still is one of the greatest games that I have had the chance to complete. Even with its outdated graphics, I could install the game right now and have a blast playing it because the storyline is great and the gameplay is second-to-none. :)

Doom III looks like a frieking movie...Can't wait! Has anyone seen any Doom III benchmarks for the 9700? The only one I saw was for the 9800, 9500 and NVidia FX cards...

I was almost more impressed with that HL2 video. They both look awesome though. I'll prolly have to get a new video card in november also!

By the way, anybody know any good free sites for E3 video downloads? I'm itching for some Halo 2 action also.

Does it remind you a little of Myst? It's almost like myst or riven (in terms of graphics) only with guns and realtime rendering, not just pre-rendered pictures
Definitely looking forward to these two games coming out. Also Thief 3. :thumb:
On another matter...yet another E3 goes by and Duke Never hasn't been released. heh its gotten so bad people write up previews for Half Life 2 in the Duke Never space.

Yeah, that and the characters being rendered in real time look like the final fantasy movie almost.
Also the physics in the tech demo, and most of the gameplay demos, was astounding.
Here is gamespots impressions of the videos I saw:

Yeah, I'm starting to download these 8 or 9 videos of HL2 as well. I watched the first one, which gave a quick technology demo and was very very impressed with what they have been able to accomplish with the new engine. It's hard to believe that the original Half-Life was released about 5 years ago. I'd love to see HL2 win "Game of the Year". Has an original game and its sequel ever accomplished that feat before?
