Ohh No!!

My life is a complete mess right now...

1. Financial aid hasn't come through totally so I have a $2000 tuition fee to pay, and $700 to pay it with!

2. My 5 year old Samsung 27" TV just burned out, stinking up my whole apartment with burnt electronics/plastic/glass smell while it was ARCING ELECTRICITY!

3. THe servers for my school died, thus I cannot send/receieve mail and I am waiting to get an email from a potential employer.

on a more serious note: sorry to hear about all the things that went wrong. take deep breaths and approach each problem one at a time...that tv should be the last thing you're worrying about right now ;)

Your financial aid was denied or it just hasn't come in yet?? I hope that it just hasn't come in yet. tuition is so high...I heard that UMCP raised their tuition like a few hundred last semester and then 15% the upcoming semester.

Where has all the funding for education gone to?

The gubment screwed up on my fin aid, thinking I was only going part time, thus they cut it in half for my unsub loan and didn't give me any grants. So, at the last minute they found out and increased it, but its too late, since the bill is due next week and the increased funds wont come through for 2 more weeks...DOH!

Oh ok...go to the financial aid office and explain the situation. Maybe they won't cancel all your classes and stuff. If not ask for a loan from family or something?

I called them and asked, she explained that they MIGHT be able to disburse the funds in 2 weeks. Otherwise I have to wait until july to get the 2nd half of my summer aid. I am going to ask my parents for a 4-week loan, just in case it doesn't come in on time.
