no fair!!!!! i have to go to one this summer! and i've only been out of high school for 9 years!!! i haven't accomplished anything to brag about yet! wtf?!?!?!?!

prm went to the same hs as me, graduated in 93, and we have a lot of the same friends in his class... so this august, i go to one of life's great milestones, the 10-year reunion. eek!

here's how shallow i am... i am damn well going to continue to breastfeed the twins through august so i will at least still have, if nothing else impressive to show, this monster rack o cleavage that looks damned good in a victoria's secret summer dress (conveniently cut in a A-line shape to hide tummy imperfections :P )

maybe i will have done something spectacular before my own 10-year reunion... hmmm... its only 14 months away... think i could cut a hit album by then? :P

I think your 3 handsome boys are a wonderful accomplishment, and I bet a ton of the women will be jealous of you!

I so, have no interest in going back and seeing all the idiot I left in HS. If I really wanted to see someone, I would have kept in touch with them in the first place.

Good luck with your cleavage though!

so long as there's free food, i'd go to my reunion.

I was just back in NJ last week for my 5-year high school reunion. We didn't have free food, but we paid 30 bucks for an open bar for 3 hours in NYC on the upper east side. Let's just say i got my monies worth :)

My reunion was actually a lot of fun and it was nice catching up with classmates that i literally grew up with from kindergarten on up, but once we were in college we lost touch.

After the reunions, i've been a whole lot better with keeping in touch with people!

:)

Man, I don't even want to think about a reunion. I occasionally get nightmares about still being in high school (Not that I had a bad time in high school, but I've done so much since I left, it would be such a waste to lose all of that).

You couldn't lure me to my HS reunion for.. I don't know, think of anything! Nothing would get me there.

I am with you on this one WL, I haven't done anything to take back and say wow! I have a serious case of Romy and Michelle, would love to say I invented post-its just to sound like I have done something.

They had one earlier this year, combined with the class after us, and from what I understand it was just like any other night out at the local bar

Not really for me.

Pretty much, I was glad to get out of high school and honestly I'm glad that chapter of my life is closed for good. Harumph... :pfft:

:stupid: i'm not sure i'd want to go back and "get in touch" again with people. most the people that i actually cared about in HS, i still keep in touch with, so i don't have to bother with a reunion. so only reason to go back would be to gossip about classmates, and i don't really see the point in that. :P with the horrid time i had in HS, i'm not particularly interested in reliving it!!

I have gone to most of the high school reunions in the past and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I plan on going to the next one in 2004.
Even though there were a lot of redneck types, there were a lot of cool people, too.
And welfare..I wouldn't get too upset about not setting the world on fire. Raising decent stable kids is a lot more rewarding than some worldy accomplishment that people forget about a year later.

welfare, the simple fact that you completed college and have a stable life will probably put you in the top 10% of your class as far as achievements go :heh:

my 5-year reunion would have been last year, but apparently no one in my class bothered to plan one. if we have one in 10 years, i will go, just to see people who i haven't seen in 10 years. but it probably will be a study in redneck psychology.

Personally, I didn't attend the 10 year reunion nor am I gonna go to the 15 that is currently being planned...

First of all, I didn't really even like most of the folks that I went to school with anyways. :stupid:

I didn't go to my 10th, nor will I attend others. I don't talk to anyone I went to high school with, so there's no one I miss.

When I left high school I high-tailed it outta town with no intention of ever looking back. With exception to visits with the parental units who still live in town (and honestly, when I do visit I pretty much never leave our property unless going to get food or coming back home), I have had no desire to change my attitude.

I'm looking forward to my 10 yr. reunion. liked high school, wouldn't want to do it again, but would be cool to see how everyone's doing.

however...the chance of us having the 10 yr is not very probable. the prez wasn't very dependable. we'll see.

well, my 10 year is in like 2010...so I have awhile.
But I can tell you I don't plan on going. No desire to.
The people I went to high school with can have purple monkeys fly out of their asses and jump backwards over the moon, and I still wouldn't care to see them.

Dopeys 10 year is in 2005, and he wants to go, and if we are still together I will go with him.

And welfare, having 3 boys is a feat all in it's own! Or you could tell everyone that you are the president of a foreign country no one has ever heard of.

you'll be surprised to see how fat, bald, old and/or weird some people have become in the last 10 years.
