Well they dont make it easy for you. I tried to pricematch something with onvia. Before even looking at the onvia item page, the CSR told me they dont pricematch ONVIA b/c ONVIA sells REMANUFACTURED??? items. I pointed out that Staples policy is to match anyone, and it doesnt say anywhere on onvia, or product page that it is remanufactured. I persisted and she finally called onvia to find out that the product is in fact brand new. So she pricematched it down to Onvias price, but then she said she cant place order for this item until item because of their merchandising problem???? I then tried to tell her that my coupon 90278... for $20 of $50 expires today. She then told me that this coupon is limited to Massachussets only(it was sent out to certain ppl in Massachussets area)
So my pricematch at this point makes no sense, because I can get it for less at buy.com or amazon.com Unless someone can give me some advice, besides calling a different CSR.
P.S. She also told me they dont pricematch Onvia, because unlike staples onvia doesnt stock their items but orders them from wherehouse. Thats complete B.S. because Staples also gets their stuff from Ingram Micro judging by their product numbers. Overall this took me 45 minutes on the phone for this whole ordeal
