So I am sitting down to dinner at outback when.....

My fiance and I decided to go out to Outback for dinner since we couldnt figure out what sounded good. So we have just sit down, when she says to me, Honey, I think that the guy behind you is on Crossing Jordan. So I feign having to hit the head and when I come back, I see that it is none other rhan Steve Valentine, Nigel on Crossing Jordan.

Now, I realize that actors are just people so rather than say anything to him, we just let him eat his dinner in peace. The funny thing is that he leaves about 1 minute before we do. Now we both had the same waiter so when he comes up to get the check, I say to him, "you dont watch Crossing Jordan do you?" The waiter didnt even know what Crossing Jordan was, so after I told him, he said, why didnt you tell me that while I was waiting on him, so at least I could enjoy it.

Just thought that was funny...who the hell would think that you would run into someone in an Outback Steakhouse in Poway!?!

Never heard of him or the show either.

I saw Michael Douglas at a restaurant about ten years ago. The woman I was engaged to got his autograph. I couldn't believe how short he was and how white his hair was.
He really didn't look like a celebrity at that restaurant, just looked like an everyday person. He is one of my favorite actors, though.

Cause it's so much more enjoyeable when you are waiting on someone that you JUST find out is famous.
