5.2 megapixel digital camera with 3x optical 349.99 !

Argus 5.2 megapixel...anyone know anything about this camera. 5.2 megapixel sounds tempting, no rebate hassles either.

let's just say that Argus isn't exactly top of the line. i would stay away if i were you.

A qood quality 3MP camera is better than a bad 5MP one. Most people don't need more than 2MP. A good camera will take quick, good contrast and good color pictures, while a cheap one might be slow (especially processing 5MP with a slow processor) and the quality of lens won't give you the contrast or color.

I'd agree with ceeka, I've own my S230 for a while now and I have realized that I for what I do...mostly just taking pictures of daily life and parties. It's plenty. I have also recently printed a few of the pictures and they look great even at 3.2 MP.
