well.....i can now......baby need diapers.....:|
think of it more as a spending binge. you spend a bunch in the span of a month or so, then yo enjoy your crap for the nxt 6-9 months until the next binge hits. hehe thats what i used to do.
sell sell sell - i'm bad about doing that - i'm a pack rat. but you prolly have a lil gold mine sitting there in unused stuff....

Do stuff that doesn't cost money. I will generally go on a 4 or 5 hour bike ride, and by the time I'm done with that, I'm far too tired to do any money-spending :) Borrow some DVD's from a friend and have a movie weekend.
Also, as far as your choices, go with #1. Since #2 is not sustainable, you'll end up in the same boat really quick. Also, the more time you work, the less time you have to spend money.
after i go to a supermarket...i can probably go 2 weeks without spending money (well, maybe except for Gasoline)

ya know how that goes :D
hoey, i pretty much do the same thing, although i typically have about a year between my binges. my latest was all my new camera stuff.....around $1000.

one...convince yourself it's BAD to use your debit card for internet transactions.. (cus it really is). use a credit card for internet... you can always get the CC company on your side against the retailer.
anyways..
clean your place.
don't look at deals sites.
watch tv...but no infomercials
...
go play computer games.

As long as you're not doing anything for two days, go the the library and get a copy of the book "Financial Peace" by Dave Ramsey. It's an entertaining book and may help you with your money problems.
Or maybe not. But at least it won't cost you anything and will keep you occupied this weekend.

Try doing this with $3 total in your bank account for about a month. It's not easy, but I managed to pull it off. Now that my tax return check is deposited, I actually have money again! :P

I sure can do. Fisrt of all, I'm too damn stingy to spend any money
on anyhting, except for the necessities. Secondly, my wife, a.k.a the Boss, keeps all the money...more or less....Thirdly, I'm too busy with my 18 months old daughter to go anywhere or do anything......
Finally, I'm really really stingy...so....:D
