I never heard of any resolution to the whole Rhino scam. They kept sending emails to inform us about paypal payment, etc., but never actually SAW any money. Anyone hear differently?

I actually received one $15 payment from RhinoScam via PayPal only after sending them a nasty email referencing my report of them to the FTC. I previously had received only two surveys, which I had filled out and returned. This was quite some time ago. Since then....no more surveys, but I received two or three emails informing me of their various plans to pay thru PayPal. Empty promises, apparently, since so few others actually ever received any payments.

The biggest surprise of all to me is the total silence on the part of Apex regarding a scam that he, homself, promoted on his Deals main page. Based on Apex's well-known policy of helping his members on problems with deals he has listed, I am appalled at his lack of interest in the fleecing of so many of his loyal members. I expected better of him!

How much money do you think Rhino collected from us ? I wonder if they're enjoying themselves on a nice expensive vacation giggling and chuckling.

And yes I agree that GotApex should have investigated this "deal" quite some time ago.

I sent them an E-mail stating that I had taken 3 surveys and was a member for over 5 months and hadn't recieved one cent from them. I asked to be refunded the $12.95 that they charged me at the beginning and they did. Amazing how fast they can credit my card (took 1 day) for the refund, however they cannot credit it what they owed me.

Yep, I just got the following email from Rhinopoint after demanding payment or refund (shouldn't have allowed the "or", oh well) or else I'd take further action:

your account is closed and a refund issued.
thank you

from "[email protected]".

Oh well, at least I got my money out. I think. No sign of a refund on my card yet. I can probably re-sign up if it ever proves to be legit.(HAAAA!)

Time to pull the chips in on this one, too bad, sounded like a good legitimate deal. Actually, I guess it sounded too good to be true, and it was... AGAIN!!!!

My (not so) eloquent letter:
I subscribed to your service well over 5 months ago and have done 2 surveys and have recieved NO PAYMENTS. I wish to unsubscribe IMMEDIATELY.
Please charge back my credit card account and unsubscribe me from your weak pathetic fraudulent service.

Phlick, that is basically the E-mail I sent them as well, however I lied a bit and told them that there are forums on the web soley dedicated to Rhinoscam and that there have been thousands of posts from Rhinoscam customers...all with one thing in common, none have ever seen a cent.

I would highly recommend anybody in the same situation to pull out and get your refund before it's too late.

I just sent them a nastygram demanding a refund. This had such potential. Too bad they were scam artists. Just think of what they could have done with all our credit card numbers.......

Wow, I didn't know people actually got MONEY from them! I gave them my paypal and everything, and STILL no word. Thanks for the boost to raise some hell!

Wierd. They have the funds to cover the refund of setup fees yet they don't use it to payoff the completed surveys... What a crock of horse manure. They should just refund all the setup fees as an act of good faith since our paying the fee was a show of our commitment...
