1. To accept me for who i am.
2. To not take advantage of my generosity.
3. To be fun and interesting.
4. The ability to be blunt about how things are.

A strong friendship. I associate almost exclusively with a core group of good friends and have very few casual friends/ acquaintances.

Nothing in particular . . . I'm like a college admissions director . . . I look for different things in each person to comprise a well-rounded class of friends. Through that system, I can expand my interests via some and focus on already existing interests via others . . . and always have someone who can relate to what I'm going through or be able to offer valuable insight.
I don't think I'm going to find everything I need in a friend through one person.

Loyalty. I can put up with the lack of anything except that.

be able to handle me. so far only a few people have been able to do it and are still alive to talk about it....
but seriously, I am not an easy person to get to know or to deal with, and if they can do that, then I let them in my bubble

IMHO, it's not what you require, but what you can offer....:)

Yes! Absolutly correct! Althoguh, I have to disagree with you on that last point. it should be: Agree with everything I say.
