yup - there was this thing on discover channel over the weekend.

basically, global warming is melting the ice on greenland (and other places). that cold water is shutting down the natural water pumps that keep the gulf stream flowing. with out the gulf stream northern north america and northern europe will get cold....

I could use a little global warming. Heck, I could go for some regional warming. Maybe it'll evaporate some of this water before I see Noah's Ark sailing past my house.
