I just signed up and used an ecount number with a $0 balance because I'm wary of forgetting to cancel... if you forgot, they (thoughtfully) charge you the $8 monthly fee for all of the 12 months to come, $96 if I'm correct. Can't got wrong with $200 in gas, though it sounds a little screwy because it works on a rebate system (which could potentially mean you need a printout of your gas purchase). Dunno though, we'll see... another trick might be you have to send the rebates to them and you need to be a member to use them, therefore when you quit the rebates are invalid. Dunno though, we'll see.

I've had good luck woith new-ish companies' customer service whne you want to cancel. I'll cancel the day I get my package.

If it's a rebate, that means you have to send it back to the company i.e., you have to have an active membership. I say phooey to this deal.
