shes cute, hot, AZN, has a great presonality, and actually likes to talk to me...

shes living with her BF, but since she's been nice the last few months, i thought i would get something for her.

Its on Tuesday, but i leave for Vegas on Tusday morning and last time i will see her is Monday.

Need something small, cheap, not flowers, not a card (maybe?), not sexual in any way.

HELP! :)

A gift certificate to a store is always good, but impersonal. That should be your last resort in case you can't think of anything else.

Perhaps a satirical book on something that you two talk about all the time. Dilbert-type book maybe.

You could always give her a pair of tickets to "something" and she'll be inclined to invite YOU since YOU gave HER the FREE tickets. :)

edible undies. they get the message across like nothing else.

wait. damn. you said nothing sexual :(

um.....if she has a good, sarcastic sense of humor, a dilbert desk calendar is never a bad thing. of course, it's currently june..... (of course, my dilbert desk calendar is still on may 9 :heh: )

actually, here's a good idea. go buy her a little girls t-shirt. and when she says, "this is way too small!" just retort, "but you're asian! Asians are supposed to be small!" after a few seconds of her glaring at you say, "so... you going to put it on or what?"

Get her a card and in it ask for her addy. Send her a postcard from vegas.

OR tell her you will play $5 for her on a number she picks

Or...

HEY! You are going to be here???
You didn't tell me you where coming!

Then again, maybe you didn't want me to know!
:bawl:

Get her a happy birthday. She's nice because it's better to work in a happy environment and have fun at work but I don't think a gift is necessary in this situation. She has a boyfriend, save your money or buy yourself something.

simple girly stuff:
candles or candle holders, a pretty vase with a spring bouquet of flowers, or a stuff animal.

or you can invite her to an informal bday lunch/dinner thing.

i like the lunch idea the best. or offer to take her out after work or whatnot, though i suspect the boyfriend has plans for dinner. lunch is a nice, casual, friendly thing to do for a bday. also, you could maybe bring her a mini cake or something (trader joe's has a great frozen tiramisu that's about the right size for two or three people).

alternatively, if she has some sort obsession/collection (ex: disney characters, smiley faces, ducks, etc) then you could get her something to add to her collection. ex: i have a smiley face obssession, so most of my friends have contributed to it in some way shape or form, from cute cards to calendars to pins). :o) good luck!

You could get her some bath and body works stuff, then she'd be cute, hot, AZN, have a great presonality, and actually like to talk to you, AND smell good!

Treat her to lunch and a card. Maybe a GC at Ben and Jerrys? They have great ice cream.

I like the put money on her lucky number. put in like 20 bucks though. 5 bucks make you look cheap ;)

or just take her out to lunch on monday. you guys are co-workers and co-workers go to lunch. nothing fishy about that. :hmm:

yeah but we only get 30 min lunches, and we ALWAYS eat in the building at our desks except fridays...

i'll probably just get a card.... Well see what i have time to get, as i'm leaving Tuesday afternoon and have to get my bike good and ready

chrissy - i'm probably gonna be extremely busy in Vegas... mostly riding motorcycles all day and all night real late.

i guess if you want, PM me a phone number or something - if i get bored i'll holler at you or something.

nah - i just know i wont have any spare time up there... it'll be wed night before we get there... we'll ride all that evening, get up the next morning, ride all day, eat lunch, ride some more, do some dyno testing, then ride some more at night / barbeque for supper, ride some more.

Firday, more riding, etc...

Saturday, ride, then load up teh bikes, then leave around noonish.

plus it doesnt help that i dont post much on here, and probably havent ever talked with chrissy directly even on the forums... hell, i didnt even know she was out there...

Very true. We haven't talked in a long time. Used to talk in the chat room a couple years ago... :) but we stopped.

Heck, if you go North on 15 and take craig road exit and make a right; go down a bit to Walmart and say hello there. Go back to layaway and ask for me.

Have fun! And I am not offended by him not wanting to talk to me... I am not an azn single chica :P why would he want to meet a married old woman??
