Last I remember is that Dell Home does charge tax to California. If anyone thinks otherwise please let me know. I could be confusing it with DELLSB.

no tax with dellhome but usualy charge for shipping. Dellsb is taxed with free shipping.

I'm in CA myself.

free shipping is a promo, so its not guaranteed that you'll get free shipping

Thanks! Had to decide which monitor to get at DELL. Decided to go with DELL home over DELLSB this time. No tax was charged.
