Why does 2nd day air never make it here in 2 days??

Why oh why when you make a purchase through Gateway or Dell do they never seem to be able to get their shipments here in 2 days?? I paid for 2 day shipping (2nd Day Air) and now UPS comes back and says shipment rescheduled. The darn package sat in Iowa ALL DAY yesterday. Guess I will call Gateway and see if I can get my shipping money back.

There's no such thing as two day to Hawaii--call and ask FedEx or UPS... They don't guarantee delivery times even though you are paying for it. The fastest I've ever gotten anything here was, oddly enough, a shipment from Dell. Three days from order to delivery. Even NewEgg, whose shipping is blazing fast, usually takes 4 days to be delivered, even though we are forced to pay for 2-day FedEx. On the upside, the weather is great while we wait...:D
