If you're thinking of opening a brokerage account, or can do without the money for 6-8 weeks you may consider opening an account with DLJdirect. They'll give you a free Visor with $10,000 deposit. It does say you are supposed to keep the money in there for a year in the fine print, but there is no penalty for pulling it out after you recieve the Visor that I can find.

See, that's the misconception that people have. Look, if you're talkin' about having tons of shi-at, then yeah, there are tons of rich people. But if you're broke and have a mountain of stuff, then you are no better off than the next guy.
Most people that have such sums of money do not get there by paying MSRP, remember that, and they still don't.
