So I went hunting for a Canon GL2 Mini DV camcorder. I wanted the best price and everywhere I searched I found either grey market or outrageous prices in the neighborhood of $2699 and sometimes even higher for just the camera. I checked out Dell and they wanted $2799...So I went over to Gateway which I never check out because they are usually overpriced for me and low and behold I found this camera for $1705 with a $100 digital movie package!! I did the save an send quote option and then purchased it the next day. IT WENT THROUGH!!! woot. So now am just waiting for the UPS shipment. Now the price is back up to $2399, but goes to show you that a lot of price mistakes do still happen.
