Hi,
Would it matter if I put a 5400 hd as a slave to my 7200 rpm drive? Will it slow it down in any way?

In a RAID config or just as two separate drives?

If you're hooking them up as two separate drives it shouldn't matter. The only time you'll see a slow down is when you're copying data between the drives. The copy will only go as fast as the slower of the two drives.

its just gonna be a slave drive for more data
