There's no more quacking in Anaheim as the Devils managed to win Lord Stanley's cup tonight. Boo on them!

:bawl:  The better team won but the crowd at the Continental Arena were definitely not classy. Bunch of classless jackasses booing when Giguere was awarded the Conn Smythe award. Bunch of mulleted swamp trash. :shake:
 Here's one to the Devils for a hard fought series.

yep bastards, I'm glad giguere got the award, he's one of the main reasons they got this far in the playoffs, just simply amazing goaltending on his part.

It would be cool if the Nets won the Championship also. Yeah, big props to Giguere. They wouldn't make it this far without him.

I always found it funny when the Devils won the Stanley Cup. They parade around in a parking lot out in the middle of a swamp. I guess the Nets will have to do the same since the meadowlands reside out in the middle of swamp land.

i was rooting hard-core for the ducks (after their sweep of detroit, i wanted them to win it all, and i hate the devils anyway). so i was bummed that they lost.
clearly, however, nj had the better overall team.
as for them booing Giguere, it was classless, but it wasn't that classless. i'm trying to think of an arena anywhere where at least some fans wouldn't be booing if someone from the losing team was awarded the mvp.
that said, i am happy to see he won it. i think there was no one else out there even remotely qualified to win it, particularly because it is the Playoff mvp award (not the "finals" mvp award). without jiggy, the ducks wouldn't have made it out of the first round. instead, they came one game away from winning the cup.
