What are some of your favorite SportsCenter quips? You know, those funny phrases that the guys/gals throw into the clips to get the viewers laughing.
One of my favorites is by Kenny Mayne when voicing-over a clip for a home run:
"Your puny ballparks are too small to contain my gargantuan blasts! Bring me the finest meats and cheeses for a clubhouse feast!"
or this variation:
"I am king of the diamond! Let there be a grand clubhouse feast! Bring me the finest meats and cheeses throughout the land!"
Other favorites include:
"The WHIIIIFFFF!"
and
"Can I get a witness from the congregation?"
Share more please. :)

"And up comes Carlos Delgado...Del GOT IT!"(as he crushes a homerun)
"Steve Finley's friends call him butta because he is on a roll!"
"Chokin on a splinter"(as the dude strikes out also a reference to "I'm a loser" by Beck)
I'll try and think of some more. Sportscenter is in my top 3 shows to watch :D

"He is amused by the simplicity of this game."
"I'm not sure what the pitch is, but it tastes like chicken." :heh:

My favorite variation is where he referred to it as "A clubhouse feast with finely marbled red meat."
And...
[insert player name] gets his 14th home run - of the season not this game - that'd be a record.

"Sweet Sassy Molassy!" - Ray Romano, SNL
OK, technically not an "authentic" Sportscenter quip, but memorable just the same. :D

"You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him."
"Booyah!"
