i don't have a mastercard creditcard. the closest thing i have is a free $75 mastercard debit card from a ford test drive, but it won't take it.

It only took about 2 minutes for me to get the code, a lot better than some where you sit around for days wondering if it will show up.
"too bad some ppl are totally abusing this. just saw where a guy had did it 99 times and was selling the giftcerts on ebay" That's typically ferengi behavior. Nothing like getting a deal killed.

see, that's your problem... you need to sign-up a bunch of times to get a single code, it's like a lottery
(on a side note - I have no idea what I'm talking about)
Maybe, if you have a spam filter, it got filtered out

No. Mastercard is giving out promotional gift certs. Promotional gcs can't be stacked with each other.

Hmm, what is the subject of the e-mail for the GC? I received 1 e-mail from them that says "Welcome to MasterCard Exclusives", but it has not gc # attached. Maybe I got ganked as usual.

This is the subject header for the GC:
"Your Special Code for Amazon.com Savings"
I actually received this before the "Welcome to MasterCard Exclusives".
Both are from "MasterCard" fyi. Hope this helps.

the postcard says to go to www.mastercard.com/amazon, but when I get there, all I get is
MasterCard will be posting information about the Amazon offer after June 17.
Please return after that date.
I did the regular registration, and I didn't see anything about a $15 coupon.

It looks like the idiots who were signing up 99 times managed to kill the deal, I tried sending a question to their customer service, but it bounced (I sent it from their web form).

this is dead unless you have a postcard. basically, you have to mail them the original postcard and your info after you signup online.
Offer good while supplies last and open to legal US resident MasterCardŽ cardholders, 18 or older who receive a Special Offer Postcard ("Postcard") along with their amazon.comŽ packing slip/receipt reflecting a recent purchase on amazon.com. To receive the $15.00 Certificate from amazon.com ("Offer Certificate"): 1.) Visit www.mastercard.com/amazon and register for MasterCard Special Offers, MasterCard's complimentary online service featuring Special Offers, by fully completing the online form according to the instructions provided between 12:00:01AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 6/26/03 and 11:59:59PM ET on 8/15/03; 2.) Following registration, mail your original Postcard (facsimiles and reproductions not accepted) along with your name, complete mailing address, email address, telephone number, age, and the first six digits of your MasterCard card account number on a plain 3"x 5" piece of paper in a sealed envelope to: MasterCard Offer with amazon.com, P.O. Box 14014, Bridgeport, CT 06673-4014. Both conditions must be met prior to Offer Certificate fulfillment. Offer Certificate requests must be received by 8/22/03 and are subject to verification by Project Support Team, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Offer. Retain a photocopy of your Postcard. Proof of mailing is not proof of delivery. All materials submitted will become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Incomplete/ineligible Offer Certificate requests received will not be acknowledged or returned. No substitutions/transfers permitted. Offer Certificates expire 12/31/03 and other restrictions apply. Visit www.amazon.com/promos for complete details. Offer Certificates will be emailed to eligible recipients approximately 10-12 weeks following 8/15/03 Offer end date. Limit 1 Offer Certificate per person/family/household/group/organization. Return of any Offer Certificate as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of Offer Certificate. Offer Certificates may not be redeemed for cash. Your participation in this Offer constitutes your consent for Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address and other information for the purpose of administering this Offer. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, postage-due, or mutilated Offer requests, Offer Certificates, or mail; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission or communication; technical or mechanical malfunctions; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines, or telephone systems; errors in these Terms & Conditions, in any offer-related advertisements or other materials; failures of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; or inaccurate Offer information, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this Offer, human processing error, or otherwise. By participating, cardholders agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Sponsored by MasterCard International Incorporated, 2000 Purchase Street, Purchase, NY 10577.
The above assertion isn't quite correct. MasterCard set up the original $15 offer, which then got flooded. They pulled the offer, and set up a NEW offer requiring the original postcard be mailed to them. However, the old offer still stands, and those that got their emails recently w/the code can go ahead and use them, no strings attached.
