I am not sure if it was really abuse that screwed it. Companies just do not make money giving out $25 off $50 and free shipping multiple times to the same customer.

From their perspective, all I've got to say is...IT'S ABOUT GODDAMN TIME! How long have we been saying, look, if you're going to give out these 5 digit coupons, you have to be prepared to get it in the can. These guys have been taking a beating from us, and I think it probably says quite a bit about their management that it took them this long to figure it out. I'm sad to see them go, but...hey, think about how much free stuff we've jacked them for! I myself have probably, over a number of different deals, taken them for 400-600 bucks.
I agree with pennypitch... It's about time!!!! Surprised they haven't gone bankrupt.

I think they try to make up for it by making you jump through hoops to get rebates. It took me over 3 hrs on the phone spread over 10+ calls to get my last $20 rebate.
Maybe this change will be a positive one for those submitting rebates anyhoo.
