Hi IrishSS, I got the ReplayTV deal that you also got. Do you think this will work in the ReplayTV or do you suppose there is a size limit?

People have used 250GB drives in them and they work fine. Ive even read that the 5xxx series have enough cooling to allow you to use 7200 rpm drives like this. Im planning to swap this into the RTV as soon as it gets here! Just too good of deal to pass up.

I missed this one, couldn't find a 15% code, I'll catch the next one. IrishSS, good find, enjoy it on your ReplayTV.

wow....nice deal! I just picked up one of the 160 gig drives and it is dead silent and nearly as fast as my RAID 0 array.

Really?

That's a tall order. How fast is your array?

(mine is a 40x2 at 52,000 MB/s)

Wow!! 52 Gigabytes per second isn't bad at all? I don't know if my pc3200 memory is that fast.

Crap.. Missed this one. Since I already have one, this would have made a bad A$$ RAID setup.. :(
