Sign up with SpeakEasy DSL and you can get an XBox, PS2 or Gamecube for free. They have a quick availability check on the link to see if you can get it in your area. Seems like a sweet deal to me if you're looking for broadband.

If you are browsing this site and don't have broadband you should do yourself a favor and get it ;)

I was with speakeasy for over a year. The free console seems nice, but speakeasy charges 10-20 bucks above covad/sbc for the same dsl package. And since you have to sign up a year long contract to be serviced by them, it adds up down the line. Also they have cruddy billing dept prone to mistakes and their mail server goes down randomly and frequently for hours at a time. I think they should've spent more money on better personnel and equipment rather than on the extra consoles they hand out.

I have Speakeasy DSL at my house in Philadelphia and the service has always been good and the customer service accesible.

i used to have speakeasy...(switched to cable modem)

they were decent... server went down randomly, but they were usaully pretty quick to switch.

price wise for ADSL...they do seem a little more expensive, but think of it as a year long no-interest plan for your xbox/ps2.
