On Sunday's the Clevland Indians have their players meet and greet fans at the ticket turnstyles. According to player Matt Lawton, he told his wife he didn't want to do it on this particular day but did it anyway. A woman whom he descirbed as "100" came in and said "I boo you everytime you come up, I hope you start hitting so we can get rid of you." He said she was nice about but thought it was a great way to start off his day.

my guess is that she hates him cuz he was one of the players that came over for that Alomar trade...

Making the players more accessible to the fans is a great thing. But I think the time before the game should probably be spent in BP, taking ground balls, reviewing video tape of the days pitcher,or at the very least stretching.
