Newegg.com has a 5400RPM Samsung (http://www.newegg.com/app/Viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=160gb&searchdepa=0&srchFor=samsung) for $115 w/ free fedex supersaver shipping, so it's roughly the same price as this deal when you include the cost of shipping.

And yes, some people do actively search for 5400RPM drives for upgrading PVRs. (These are perfect for Ultimate TVs in particular, which are notorious for their overheating even with the stock hard drive!)
