Yep, you heard it. Talked to ppl @ two Atlanta Office Depots today in an attempt to pm an overpriced hd; both told me that they have ended their 155% pm'ing policy. Just regular old 100% now. Let us all observe a moment of silence as deal-making becomes a bit harder.

Sorry to break this to you, but OD ended pricematching at the beginning of this month! By 8/6 it was all over. You must have been hybernating!

Just another nail in the coffin of internet hot deal era. The days of dot coms spending billions without showing earnings are going to force us all to find something else to do with our computers.

I am not sure if this is the end of the hot deals. Sometimes when companies go bankrupt, they actually sell items as a loss, because they will not have to pay for the items. I think I read this somewhere. Maybe we could get in on a second wave of internet deals. Still, slowly killing the companies is much more fun.
