The Dodgers have great pitching but they cant score for their life. Talk about a bad year to have a lot of your hitters having off years. Shawn Green is pressing and isnt putting up monster numbers. Lo Duca has been fine but the rest of hte lineup is underperforming.

I'm a Padre fan(no apologies) so naturally I am a Dodger anti-fan. However since I think the GIANTS are a bunch of schmucks I am rooting for the Dodgers to rise up and kick their asses.

And even though Kevin Brown bailed on us, I still like that guy. He knows how to sling it.

Glad to see Andy Ashby getting better again too. You know, despite their record, the Padres really aren't that lousy. Just a couple pitchers and they could win quite a few more games. Maybe there's hope for the new stadium next year after all!

Well it is good to see that the Dodgers actually do have fans that pay attention. They are having a great season so far and sometimes it seems like nobody has noticed.

I appreciate that zippy thanks :thumb: Yep these season was over a while ago but I still watch every game I can just because of what you said, next year when the club has money we might be able to make a run. There are a few good things happening on the Padres right now and if they could just solidify the bullpen a bit we might win a series or two.

Speaking of winning a series, the Padres finally won a series after something like 15 series losses in a row. Who did they win it against? The Seattle Mariners of course ;) Who would have thought that they would finally break the slump by beating the team with the best record in the majors  Bad thing is, now the Padres go to Seattle and I'm sure they are going to be looking for some payback

Blah at the giants. I hate the giants because a local sports talk radio host is a giants fanatic and he pisses me off with his anti yankee rants.

Go dodgers

Hating the Giants and hating a local sports talk radio host are two separate issues... at least to me they are  seems like you listen to it a bit tho? :P

*cough*

Diamondbacks 9 wins in a row!

How can a team with Schilling, Johnson, Counsell, Spivey out etc?...go on a run like this? Basically we have the Tucson Sidewinders (Dbax AAA club) kicking the crap out of the rest of the major league! :heh:

Since the strike there has only been one time that I have seriously followed baseball, and that was the home run race or whatever they called it.

The Dodgers annoy me even though I don't watch baseball because KFWB is their new flag ship station and they broadcast all their damned games and Tofu can't get his traffic reports on a regular basis....GRRRR

I admit, that is quite a feat in itself.. but I hardly call Detroit a major league team :P and thats only 3 teams that they've played during the streak. What happened to the other 20-something teams?

LOL true. The "windmills" fail again. Dayummm! 10 in a row with minor-league talent hitting.

Sorry for being annoying, gotta bump this until the D-backs lose (superstition :P).

12 in a row. Gonzo 2HRs and 5 RBIs 12 innings.

Wow.

Wow, The Indians have won 3 in a row. That's probably the first time that that's happened all season! :(
