i got a job! wheee!!

over the past year, i've been stressing over the job thing... made it all the way to graduation w/o a single job offer, though a number of interviews. well, less then a week after graduation, i finally got an offer!! i'm going to be a staff engineer doing GUI(graphical user interface) stuff (something i don't have too much experience with, but i enjoy what little i've done, and i'd love to learn more!). I'm really really psyched about it, and it's a HUGE relief to know that i can finally escape this horrible limbo and start life after college. :D the funny thing is, that this is one of the companies that i least expected to hear from, and yet they were the only ones to offer anything! go figure :P anyway, just wanted to share the good news!

That's awesome avelena congratulations. I remember right before I graduated, actually like a year before I graduated, I was stressing bigtime about getting a job. It took me about 3 months to finally get a job, and before then I wasn't even getting a nibble. It was a tremendous relief, which I am sure you are feeling right now.

eh. i'm probably stick around with my lab job on campus until i leave LA. then go to korea. put off worrying about a job for another 1.5 years. haha. congrats!
