I just ordered this!
Go to call staples.com and request a pricematch for the linksys 5 port switch (staples sku# 430473) to onvia's $ 54.95 price.
To save them time, tell them to type in EZXS55W on onvia's search box to take them right to the page. They'll match the price over the phone,
then tell them you have a $20 off $50 coupon (code: 90291). The total comes to 34.95 - $20 ( mail in rebate) 14.95! FREE SHIPPING! I just did this about 2 minutes ago.

It works, since Ive received the switch today(cant believe how small it is). If they give you bull**** in regards to Onvia shipping refurbished items dont give up, have them call onvia and ask if the item is new or refurbished. If they tell you that onvia doesnt stock the items, dont hesitate to add that Staples also gets their stuff from Ingram Micro according to their product number. Basically they will try to slip out of pricematch, but if you persist, they will give in. Oh, yeah, and dont mention the coupon untill theyve agreed to pricematch. And I am sure that you like everybody else got your online coupon on the back of Philadelphia Turnpike toll bridge plaza ticket during your last roadtrip there http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I would love to see a good deal for the linksys switch/router

wga: Well if you get this switch for $15 you dont have to buy 4-port Linksys router which sells for more than $150 everywhere, you could just get 1 port router that sells for $100, use a coupon of $10 to $40 off(buy, staples, onvia)or something rather and net yourself savings of more than $40. I myself am waiting for my echo Amazon GCs to arrive to buy that router from Amazon
man i went through hell with them for this ,they (staples)told me thay cant pricematch this item till they can confirm they(onvia) has it in stock .well onvia was closed but ther site states its in stock, but they(staples) said its not good enough for them they(staples) needs to speak to someone at onvia to make sure it in there(onvias) warehouse i didnt see anything at staples about having this item instock in a warehouse just that they must state its in stock , man staples will do anything to get out of this deal, well i will make it a point to get it from staples at this deal http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

Got my Linksys Switch today, only billed me $34.95. Now I just have to send in my $20 rebate!
staples new scam around this ,they state that they will sell it to me for$54.95 but they have to charge me an extra 25 buck for overnight delivery since onvia does not ship overnight for free , well no matter i still got it with the rebate but i dont want this now, so i will bring it back to the store and get my credit back on it ,oh my did they just lose money on the shipping ?too bad

Tell them its not overnight, they ship UPS ground just like ONVIA! They tried that on me, but I said was offended at how they try work around these kind of situations. They do not ship overnight, they ship UPS Ground.

thanks vladgur, but my dsl connection is at least 4-6 weeks out, so I have some time to wait for the killer deal on the combined switch/router. I like the idea of just having 1 device to keep up with. The thought has occurred to me though.

Ok. Whats the purpose of having a dsl router? Doesnt the dsl modem serve as a router for you? Or when they say router do they mean proxy? My dsl gives us 5 extra Ips for $5 (on top of the two initial adresses). I'm sick of dealing with port fowarding and the **** inherent in using a proxy (although all 6 of the machines in my appt are currently behind our beloved linux proxy box until we get off our lazy asses and order the Ips) Whats the deal?
