A light saber fight sequence with the flavor of a Hong Kong martial arts action movie. This short is set in a dense forest of an unknown planet, where a young Jedi, eager to fight to help the Revolution, clashes with a Sith Lord in a battle where only one will remain standing. Music by Hans Zimmer and a monologue extracted from an authentic Civil War love letter written in 1861, help to set the tone for this movie.

holy snikes!
that was kick-a$$!
now here's a question: why can't hollywood make simple fight scenes like that? it costs less, and is much cooler than showing the same shot from 13 different angles.
amazing choreagraphy! i'm gonna watch it again!

 its cool but parts are a bit farfetched...
sabers in the ground and staying in the same position, sabers not igniting the grss, the guy with two should have taken the guy with one very quickly, and if you had two and were just as good with one why not slip the second one in and kill the guy.
im yet to see anyone use the drop down method in a saber fight, it brings instant death to your opponent  cool though.. i think the fat kid is better...

I had the same thoughts, but then again I don't claim to know enough about star wars to know how a saber acts. I read a bunch of the books and what not. I guess it is not totally impossible for a saber to be stuck into the ground and not move for a few seconds. But what do I know.
I just thought that this was a kick butt short film. Not a bad job for a couple of brothers. Let us not get nit picky and just enjoy it for what it is... an awesom fight scene.

According to the credits, they did it in 4 days using a Sony MiniDV and Adobe Premier.
But more importantly......
Anything put out by a group called the Ho Brothers is going to have to be good. Bring on the ho's. :hihi:

I have the same problem with Quicktime in WinXP. You just have to wait for a while...at least that's what I have to do.
