I ordered 5 packs of 10 and got ,em for $4.95 and everything went through. I will check my EMail later this evening to see if they really do accept it. I have a feeling that it may have been a typo.

It is not a typo. It is a real sale that is featured on their main page.

I couldn't get my order through in the wee hours of the morning so I attemtped to place the order over the phone. I wouldn't have called customer service if I had not been 100% certain it was a real sale. She confirmed it was a real sale but she couldn't place the order either do to the site problems. Members of my site have since emailed me that the site is working again and they've been able to place orders.

Page is down, they have had more trouble than it has been worth. I did a store pick up, went the same day and got my Cd, a week later I got a call saying I needed to pick up my cd still and if I didn't they would have to cancel and credit me, yet I used a gc and never saw the benifits.

Just talked to Customer Service - 8/28/00 at 5pm EST. Their secure server is down and won't be up until Tuesday AM. They can not place an order or check stock either - whole system is dead.

I tried ordering it all day...the site finally works now...well sorta...but now they discontinued selling the item...PERIOD. I called BestBuy.com and got a confirmation on this...darn...All the people who got on this deal...Lucky you hehe ^_^...

Oh btw I called at 4:50 PM PST and they said they stopped all orders as of 3:00 PM PST...

BTW folks, this deal is dead for the time being. I talked to a CS lady with BestBuy.com tonight (regarding another unrelated issue). She couldn't help me because the site was down due to the CD-R sale rush. I inquired about it, acting like I wasn't aware of it and she said they sold out in 4 hours and that many may not get their products because of the rush. Anyway, they've pulled the deal until they can figure out how many of them they have available.

Quick Question, how many people do you think took up on this deal, I found 10 pages that included this offer, how many people would take up on it, there server cracked casue of pressure. My order went gold an hour ago, shipped in less than 12 hrs NICE!

If you missed this one go for the 20 CDrs for free after rebate, I did that one too, it's nice to be on a t3.
