I'm looking to networking my home. However, i dont know much about networking. Do you guys recommend a wireless router or the normal ones? And if so, do you know of any current deals on them?
What are the advantages/disadvatnages of these options.
Also, if i go with non-wireless, i will need some long cables. Do you know any place that has these for cheap or maybe a sale going on?

Check the GotApex deals page (http://www.gotapex.com/deals.php). There's at least a few deals on routers every week. To see a sample, once you're viewing the GotApex deals page, enter the search term "router" in the upper-right corner and it should show you some of the numerous router deals from the past. Some of them may still be valid.

most wireless routers usually have 3-4 wired ports.
There are some very good deals going on for LAn cables in Microcenter. If you have decided to get a wired router you can have a look.
A good deal for wireless router $29.99 after rebate.
A good deal for wired router $9.99 after rebate.

Check Amazon.com, I was just looking today for a friend of mine and they had a bunch on sale like 40% off.
